A traditional Buddhist robe known as a kasaya is mostly worn by Tang Sanzang, also known as a Tang Monk, in Black Myth: Wukong.

According to game lore, the kasaya represents aspects of Chinese culture and mythology and has a special treasure called the “Kasaya of Eversparks.”

In Black Myth: Wukong, Guangzhi, a Yaoguai Chief, makes an avaricious attempt to seize the Kasaya riches as recompense for his master Jinchi’s teachings. Black Myth: Wukong provides a variety of armour sets and attire, each of which is a representation of Chinese mythology and culture. Gamers can build many armour sets in the game, including Wave-Rider, Raging Sandstorm, Gale Guardian, Dance of the Black Wind, and Swift Pilgrim.

Certain armour sets require players to finish the creation of particular robes, such as Ochre Battle Robe, Loongscale Battle Robe, and Ebongold Silk. Aside from this, one of the robes in Black Myth: Wukong’s first chapter that has great significance is Robes Kasaya.

Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong centres on the goal of locating and obtaining one of the six Wukong relics that are hidden in the Black Wind Mountain, which is defended by Black Bear.

Assuming the role of the Destinated One, players will set out on a quest from Black Wind Mountain to discover a narrative connected to the first Journey to the West (JTTW).

As you continue, you will learn about Jinchi’s fixation on the Kasaya that Sanzang wears, and how his pupil “Guangzhi” intends to get it for their master’s.

In addition, the last cutscene shows that Jinchi’s future will be guided by the black bear, as told by Guanyin Buddha.
