Similarly, Smikle went to a private school and graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and labour relations from the University of Michigan. Smikle has over twenty years of experience as a local and international political strategist and policy advisor.
He is a lecturer at Teachers College’s Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. In 2003, he also established Basil Smikle Associates, where he contributed his political science, PSU, and correspondence skills.
